Superblij zijn we met de toezegging van Andres Perdomo, uit Bogotá Colombia, om dit jaar de Masterclass voor ID te verzorgen. Naast het feit dat Andres een zeer sympathieke en vrolijke persoonlijkheid is kan hij ons veel vertellen over Selfligation, oud en nieuw. Onderstaand een kort CV van hem waaruit duidelijk mag blijken dat hij zijn sporen al ruimschoots heeft verdiend. Hij gaat onze kennis vergroten van nieuwe brackets(zoals ultima) en van nieuwe ontwikkelingen (Indirect Bonding à la Insignia). Een enorme aanrader dus; ben je Alumnus dan heb je gratis toegang (wel registreren hier), ben je nog geen alumnus dan kan dat natuurlijk altijd wanneer je of de Spark opleiding of de Integrated Orthodontics Basis en Advanced Serie hebt gevolgd. Dr. Andrés Felipe Perdomo received his dental degree from Javeriana University, Bogotá – Colombia in 1987, and his certificate in Orthodontics also from Javeriana University in 1998. From the beginning of his career as an Orthodontist he has taught in the Department of Orthodontics at the University Cooperative of Colombia in Bogotá-Colombia. His preferred topics are Biomechanics, Tad’s, Challenging treatments & PSL systems. After That Dr. Perdomo was appointed to the position of professor of Biomechanics at the University of Cuenca- Ecuador and associate researcher as well. He was then invited as a guest professor at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and Circulo Argentino de Odontologia, Buenos Aires-Argentina. He has undertaken many research projects about Class II malocclusion, Sleep Apnea Syndrome, mandibular propulsion devices just to name few, often in collaboration with the University Cooperative of Colombia, University of Cuenca-Ecuador. He is also a national and international speaker in countries like USA (Damon Forum 2017-2019), Australia, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, India, Sri Lanka, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and many more. He has written many scientific papers, book chapters, and he is the author of the book: Current Principles of the Self-Ligation Systems.
